Last weekend, we attended the AIGA's Grow Conferencein Manhattan. For the most part it had to do with Designing for Sustainability as well as some other "eco-friendly" topics. For those who aren't quite sure what we mean by sustainability, it's pretty much means to create something that will have a minimum impact on the environment. It was actually very enlightening to see that the ball has already started rolling with this idea. Some of the presenters were really interesting such as Kyeann Sayer from Treehugger.com, Chirs Hacker from Johnson & Johnson, Leslie Hoffman with her green roofs, and Rick Field from Ricks Picks. Overall I had a good time, however if any of you guys decided to go next year, pack a lunch. Honestly, the food wasn't worth the wait.
Oh yeah, Happy Birthday Giselle!
